William Floyd "Bill" Baldwin was born April 9th, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away peacefully at home the morning of April 12, 2012. Bill was a 1964 graduate of Central High School where he was a star athlete, voted most handsome, as well as most friendly.
After attending college and joining the Army Reserves, Bill worked for Union Pacific Railroad and later pursued a career in the mortgage banking industry. In the mid 1960s, Bill made Cabot his home where he later raised his family. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many hours hunting and fishing. He was known for his gardening skills and was quick to share with family and friends. Bill was a dog lover and spent many years with his favorite Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Lea and Katie. Bill was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cabot.
Bill was the son of Mattie Lee Baldwin and the late Ezra Baldwin of Little Rock. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Houston and Elsie Melissa Ann Barham and Mattie Lou and Ezra Francis Baldwin.
