sometime between 1920 and 1930, Parlee left Marion because of his heavy drinking. She walked from their home on Smyrna Road into Lonoke. She lived and worked in a Lonoke hotel on front street. Emma remember “grandma Baldwin” living with Lola and Bill Deese extended family for a while. …dates not known.
