Dr. Mat Elton delivered. Older brother Buddy had picked name Bobby Bennett after a friend who was related to the Elbert Watson Family.
Note 5
Marvin Thaxton and Jug Wallace were high school class mates with Bobby.
As children they were the "Elm Street Gang" and had nick names. Bobby was Crazy Horse, and Marvin was Stupid. Their turf was the Scarborough Lot, which they thought at the time was just a gang name but actually was the name of the owners.
Several years before he died and probably while he was still working, Bobby spent two weeks in Newport just to visit and check up with his friends whom he hadn't seen in several years.
