Sarah was born on 13 Feb 1810 in Bedford County, Tennessee, the daughter of Phineas Holmes and Rachel Stewert.

She died on 17 Jun 1859 in Benton County, Arkansas .

Her husband was Dysart Woods, who she married in 1827 in Bedford County, Tennessee.
