Personal and Family Information

Richard was born in 1680 in Virginia, the son of Richard 1 Flynt and Mary Sharp.

He died in BET 23 Feb 1752 AND Jul 1752 in Richmond County, Virginia.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Elizabeth Reeves, who he married on BEF 10 APR 1731 in Lancaster County, Virginia. Their four known children were John (1715-c1786), Richard 3 (1720-1792), David (<1730-1775) and Mary Ellen Elizabeth (<1730-1749).

His second wife was Mary Muse Sanford Remy, who he married on BEF 28 APR 1743 in Virginia. Their only known child was William (1745-c1809).
