DELHI — Funeral services for Wilson Calhoun Simmons, 89, of Delhi, were at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Lewis Clarke officiating.

Burial was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home here.

Mr. Simmons died Tuesday at Richland Nursing Home after a brief illness.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ezra Rundell of Delhi, and Mrs. Otho Newcomer of West Monroe;

three sons, Joseph C. Simmons of Springhill, Lorain Simmons of Cullen, and C. Powell Simmons of Citronelle, Ala.;

14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
