Their eleven known children were Oscar Jefferson (1878-<1900), Katie Ethel (1879-1879), Lula Ann (1879-<1900), Lena Pearl (1881->1944), William Crawford (1883-1966), Clyde twin (1885-<1890), Claude Lee twin (1885-1911), Georgia Elizabeth (1888-1956), Mary Loulia (1894-?), John (1896-<1910) and Dollie Gertrude (1902-1989).

John Blakely Birth: unknown Death: Oct. 30, 1901 Newport, Jackson County Arkansas, USA
John Blakely, aged about 45 years, living nearly three miles south of here, died Wednesday morning, October 30th, at 10 o'clock, after a siege of typhoid-malarial fever.
The burial took place Thursday morning at Walnut Grove Cemetery, the services being conducted by Rev. H.E. Gabby.
The deceased leaves a wife and six children, three boys and three girls, one of whom is married. He was a man highly respected by all who knew him.
Of unquestionable character, frank disposition, the qualities that make a true man were in him ever manifest. He was loving and kind in his relations to family and just and honorable in his dealings with men.
