Eleanor was born on 22 SEP 1776 in Wye House, Talbot County, Maryland, the daughter of Edward IV Lloyd and Elizabeth Gwynn Tayloe.

She died on 18 AUG 1805 in West Virginia.

Her husband was Charles Lowndes, who she married on 1794. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Harriet Lowndes (1794-1835), Edward Lloyd (1797-?), Charles (1798-1885), Lloyd (1800-1879), Richard Tasker (1803-?) and Elizabeth Ann (1805-?).
