Her husband was Charles Lowndes, who she married on 14 MAY 1824 in Talbot County, Maryland. Their seven known children were Sarah Lloyd (1827-1905), Ellen (1831-1845), Charles (1832-1920), Edward Lloyd (1836-1837), Lloyd (1838-1905), R. Tasker (1843-1845) and Elizabeth Tayloe (1844-1925).
