I just remembered, I have a photo of Granny Sally sitting that little round table in her kitchen...got a pan in front of her, cooking as usual. I'd love to have a jar or two of her blackberry preserves (seeds included) and some of her cinnamon rolls. Once when I asked her for the recipe for her cinnamon rolls, she told me I could not make them like she did because I did not know how the dough was supposed to feel. She was correct....but with practice, I can now do a pretty good job on cinnamon rolls.
