Henrietta was the daughter of Armistead Shelton and Susannah Shelton. The date and place of her birth have not been found.

She died before 1819. The place is not known.

Her husband was Beverly Smith Shelton, who she married on 31 OCT 1803 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Their only known child was Charles Coleman (1815-1900).
