He had five marriages/partners. His first wife was Emma Estelle Flynt, who he married on 19 DEC 1897 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Their five known children were Alla Mae (1898-1984), Susie Elvira (1905-1988), William Hiram Jr (1907-2002), John Henry (c1905-c1909) and Girl Baby (1912-1912).

His second wife was Mattie Davis Hester, who he married on 30 JAN 1914 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Their only known child was Mattie Odell (1919-2001).

His third wife was Ida Missouri Rea, who he married on 5 APR 1918 in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Their only known child was Joseph Wayne (1924-2013).

His fourth wife was Delcie E Stauber, who he married on 14 OCT 1928 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. They had no known children.

His fifth wife was Mary Jane Eason, who he married in BEF 1959. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
