Elsie Eldora Allison, AGED NATIVE OF MAINE DIED HERE MONDAY AFTERNOON

Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Eldora Allison, aged 79, widow of the late John Allison of Bentonville, and a native of Maine, who died late Monday afternoon, July 13th, 1936, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ed Sullivan, and family, in the north suburbs of Bentonville, were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Bentonville Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted by the Rev. Irl Bridenthal of Gentry, an old friend of the family's assisted by the local pastor, the Rev. Jas. O. Smith. Music was by the church choir. Burial was in the family lot at the Bentonville cemetery, and funeral arrangements were directed by the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Mrs. Allison was born in New Vineyard, Maine. She and her husband and children came to Northwest Arkansas in 1893, location here at Bentonville where she has since lived.

She is survived by one son, James Allison of Minnesota, and by five daughters, Mrs. Ed Sullivan, Mrs. D. Knevels, and Mrs. Ollie Featherston, all of Bentonville, and Mrs. Mary Loutham and Mrs. Lenora Imes, both of Kimball, Neb. She also is survived by a number of grandchildren.
