"Funeral services for Homer Grantham, 30, were held from the Miles Mortuary in Globe at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Gordon C. Chapman had charge of services. Grantham died at the Gila General hospital at midnight Saturday night. The previous Thursday he suffered a sudden illness and a fall at his home.
He is survived by a son, J.T. Grantham, two daughters, Mary Ellen and Billie Dale, of Globe; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Grantham of Miami; a sister, Mrs. C.F. Burnett of Miami; and a brother, Gordo Gordon Grantham of Denver. Grantham had been an employe of the Miami Copper company for a number of years.

J.T. Grantham, 58, of Globe died May 13 at his residence. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and moved to Miami in 1926.
Mr. Grantham served with the Army Air Force during World War II and with the Army and Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Johnston of Phoenix;
two sisters, Billie Horn and Nancy Leigh of Phoenix;
two brothers, Daniel Johnston of Phoenix and Neil Johnston of Texas
and his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burnett of Globe.
Funeral services were Monday at the Palmer Globe Mortuary wih Rev. Neil Hill officiating. Burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
Palmer Globe Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
