Born December 28, 1944 in Houston, Texas to the late W. P. Thomason, Sr. and Helen Janak Thomason, he lived in Chester for many years. He was a member of Chester Baptist Church and Local 450 Operating Engineers. An avid outdoors man, William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Shawn Thomason and a brother, Errol M. Thomason.
He is survived by his loving wife, Veronica Thomason; children, W. P. Thomason, III of Chester, Chellie R. Thomason of Chester, Shane Thomason of New Jersey, Wesley Thomason of San Antonio, Dalton Thomason of Chester and Haliegh Thomason of Chester; sisters, Sylvia O'Gaines of Houston, Helen M. Hefner of Conroe and Olivia Parnell of Kingwood; and a host of other family members and friends.
