Preceding him in death are his parents Hubert and Oda Deese Roush.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to Diabetes Association, American Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association. Online guest book, www.boydfuneralhome.net.

The last few years of Hansel’s life were tough. He had diabetes and had a leg amputated 1 1/2 years ago. Then he lost a couple of toes on the other foot. That surgery never healed so he lost the other leg. He had been in a care facility in Lonoke and somehow they let him slip out of bed. The fall broke his hip. He had surgery last Wednesday to repair the break and never recovered from that. Keith said his mother Martha did have dementia so send cards to him.

His daughter, Laura Sparks and her husband, live in Rogers with their 3 young children.
