"Miss Gladys Irene Woods was born Oct. 24, 1900 and departed this life Wednesday, September 21st at the home of her mother, Mrs. Cephe Woods, near Little Flock.
She professed faith in Christ when fourteen years of age and united with the Missionary Baptist church of Pleasant Hill, living a consecrated Christian life, showing her faith by her works. She leaves to mourn her departure her mother, one brother, Glen, and two sisters and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral was conducted by the writer, assisted by Rev. Caranahan of the Presbyterian church of Pea Ridge and Rev. Armstrong of the Baptist church of Rogers, after which the body was laid to rest by the side of her father in Oakley Chapel cemetery to await the Resurrection morn. A. J. Deason
