Memorial services for William Emerson Newbern, 83, of Marianna will be held Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Marianna.  Burial will be at Marianna Memorial Park,  Marianna, AR.  Mr. Newbern passed away March 5, 2006 in Memphis, TN. He is survived by a daughter, Chris Kenniston of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a sister, Nancy Vernon of Aiken, SC and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Polk Newbern, Jr. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Marianna.
