Notes

Note 1

unnamed child of Dollie and Lon is buried in Walnut Grove beside Ben F Simmons according to burial index at Newport library.

from Dana Glover, dau of Lucy Faye and Bobby Glover 14 Jan 2009

My mom Always was Proud of being the 7th daughter of the 7th daughter.

There is only listed 5 girls and then you.  I remember my mom saying that

"Big Momma" had Twin Girls.  I can't remember when they came.  One was born

dead, the other died a few years or months later.  Mom used to tease Gina at

first about her having twins, because twins skip a generation.

Mom ALWAYS said she was the 7th daughter of the 7th daughter and she

believed that is why she was so lucky when it came to gambling and why she

was so good at sports.  There is suppose to be MAGIC in that number of being

the 7th daughter of the 7th daughter.  So Big Momma "Dolly" was also the 7th

daughter in her family.

Note 2

Allie in 1910 census reports 11 children with 6 alive

1900 census she reports 10 children with 6 alive

John died 1901 just few months before Dollie born March 1902

Goodspeed bio dated 1890 says 5 children living and Clyde died, but names 6. Only 4 names match 1900 census.

This implys Dollie is child #11 and another? died after 1900 census? maybe a twin of Dollie?

see Dana Glover note about twins.....
