Littleberry was born in 1804 in Georgia, the son of James Freeman and Rhoda Watson.

He died in 1847 in Tallapoosa Cty, Alabama.

His wife was Frances Malone, who he married in 1832 in Augusta, Richmond Cty, Georgia. Their eight known children were Rebecca (1835-?), James F (1837->1893), Westly (1838-?), William Green (1840-?), Mary Susan (1842-?), Littleberry B. (1843-c1865), Millard F (1848-?) and Rhoda Ann (c1847-?).
