He had four marriages/partners. His first wife was Sophia Adams, who he married in ABT 1801. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Mary Sophia (1803-1863) and Catherine (1805-1832).
His second wife was Abby Sheldon, who he married in ABT 1810. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Daniel Sheldon (1813-1838).
His third wife was Amey Martin, who he married on 10 SEP 1821 in Providence, Rhode Island. Their two known children were Caroline Martin (1823-1848) and Sophia (1824-1872).
His fourth wife was Almira Theodosia Fenner, who he married in 1832. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Arthur Fenner (1835-1886) and Simon Newton (1838-1902).
