Frances Emma McNeely Oakes divorced her 1st husband, William Sturge Taylor; they had 6 children together.

Frances was the 2nd wife of Rama Mack Carver Oakes. They married in 1897 in Barry Co, MO. They had 3 children; Ramie Elmer Oakes & 2 names unknown.

Frances had resided in the community for 44 years; she was 77 years, 6 months & 4 days old. The cause of death, as noted on her death certificate, was "coronary thrombosis".
