David Westfall Haslam, Jr., 56, died January 23, 2016 at home in Warren, PA, where he had lived for the past decade. Born in Morristown, NJ, he was the son of the late David W. Haslam and the late Barbara Ayers Haslam. He was a lifelong resident of Mendham, graduating from West Morris Mendham High School, and then the University of Colorado at Boulder. He had a kind, gentle spirit and many talents including a love of and proficiency in sailing, climbing, carpentry, glasswork and raising dogs.

He leaves behind his two sisters, Susan Haslam McClure (Stewart) and Carrie Haslam Vallacchi (Rick), both of Mendham, niece Alexandra McClure, and nephews Parker McClure, Daniel Vallacchi and Bradley Vallacchi.
