Miss Pearl Jefferson 73, died at Bates Memorial Hospital Saturday morning after a long illness. She was born east of Bentonville, on October 1, 1873 and was the daughter of the late S.A. and Joann Neal Jefferson. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Tom Landers, Rogers and Miss Mollie Jefferson, Bentonville and one brother, C.P. Jefferson, Dublin, Texas.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, at 2:30pm at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas A. Claggett, pastor of the Bentonville Presbytarian Church conducted the service and burial was in the Bentonville Cemetery.

Mrs.Jettie Jefferson Huffman died last night at Southwest City, Mo at the home of her daughter, Mrs Abe Paul. She was the daughter of the late Tip Jefferson, pioneer Benton county, Citizen.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Paul, two sons, Dr Kenneth B Huffman of Joplin and Cargile Huffman of Little Rock; two brothers Bud Jefferson of Pea Ridge and Charles Jefferson of Dublin Tex, and three sisters, Mrs Tom Landers, and the Misses Mollie and Pearl Jefferson of Bentonville.

Funeral services will be held here tomorrow afternoon at the First Presbyterian church and burial will be in the Jefferson cemetery east of Bentonville.
