William Terrell Gillenwater 1795 SC -1865 Texas. served two enlistments in the War of 1812, first in the Mounted Volunteer Militia from East TN, 1812-1813, then as Capt with an East TN Volunteer Infantry, 1813-1814. He came to Dallas with his grandson, John Brown, & because of the war, could not return to his home in MO. No stone.)
