He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Sarah A Breckenridge, who he married in ABT 1853 in Arkansas. Their three known children were Amanda (1854-?), Imogene (1865-?) and Bryant Wesley (1882-1971).

His second wife was Louisa Francis Brazeale, who he married on 5 SEP 1897 in Tupelo, Jackson County, Arkansas. They had no known children.
