Notes

Note 1

Cathy Jean Flynt Whaley, 74, of Lonoke, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on August 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 5, 1951, Cathy grew up in Lonoke and worked in her family's business, Flynt's Dairy Bar, where her strong work ethic and warm heart began to shine at an early age. She later devoted her life to caring for others as a home health care nurse, a role that reflected her deep compassion and unwavering faith.

A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, Cathy lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and love. She cherished the simple joys in life—creating arts and crafts, drawing, attending church, and spending precious time with her family.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha Flynt, and her brother, Larry Flynt.

She is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Jimmy Flynt (Charlene) and Robbie Flynt (Sherry); her children, Kaye Roberts, Timmy Whaley, and David Whaley; her grandchildren, Amanda Coffman (Rodney), Kayla Miller, Jasalyn Truelove, Logan Whaley, Luke Whaley, and Isabella Whaley; and her great-grandchildren, Zealous, Xion, Aiden, Shon, Jerrimiah, Jade, and Jules.

Cathy's family was the center of her world, and her love for them was constant and unconditional. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and service lives on in each life she touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Boyd's Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke.
