Joyce Marie Massey, age 55, March 14, 2023

Joyce Marie Massey of Little Rock, Arkansas died on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at The Green House Cottages of Poplar Grove in hospice care at the age of 55.

As a young mother in her twenties, Joyce endured a medical tragedy that left her to slowly lose her physical and mental abilities. What endured was her kind heart and compassion for those she loved. When surrounded by those people, she was always quick to ask how they were, and leave them with her sweet “love you” sentiment. In the garden of life, Joycie was that frail rare orchid whose bloom continues to be cherished.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Sheets, of Jacksonville.
