Note 1

DICKSON, Ephraim {first name was misspelled in obit)- Uncle Ephraim Dickson died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.W. Jefferson yesterday afternoon after a short illness. He was about seventy-five years of age and besides his widow, is survived by three daughters, all living in Bentonville: Mrs. W.W. Jefferson, Mrs. Ernest Patton {Mrs. William Ernest Patton} and Mrs. James Knott, Jr. He has lived close to Bentonville nearly all his life and his father was one of the earliest settlers in this section. Judge William A. Dickson, who was the great-grand son of Robert and Esther, lived in a house still standing at 710 West Central. Also, Ephriam Harvey Dickson's house still stands at 702 West Central. Ephriam sold off a large piece of that property as the new Dickson addition in 1886
