Note 1

Mrs. Jane Mason Clark (née Dickson) died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Joe Peel, in Bentonville March 13, aged eighty two years, eleven months and twelve days. Deceased was one of the oldest residents of the town and county, having lived here continuously for seventy-five years, coming from Bedford County, Tenn. in March 1827. She was married to James W. Clark in 1884 and to them were born nine children, six of whom are living and were all at her bedside at the time of death except one.
