Note 1

John L. Conner. Augusta, Jan 14- John L. Conner, aged 48, died at his home in Denver, Colo., where he had lived for the past two and a half years. Interment was made in the Augusta cemetery Sunday afternoon. He leaves a wife and five children.

He was an extensive rice and cotton planter, president of the Home Oil and Manufacturing Company and held other business offices. He was a member of the Methodist church.

The children include Mrs. E.B. Timmermieister of Wapokoneta: O.F. Conner of Augusta; Clements, Edwin and Erin Conner, Mrs Cora McDonald, and Mrs T Ed Conn are sisters
