Woods, Robert S. - Robert S Woods died Saturday morning at his home on North C Street, the result of a long illness with tubercular trouble. Funeral services were held at the house Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and were conducted by Rev T.E. McSpadden of the Presbyterian Church, assisted by Rev. Peter Carnahan of Bentonville.

Interment was in the family cemetery near the J.N. Woods farm, northwest of town. The deceased was a son of the late John H. Woods and was born near Bentonville, Sept 15, 1885. He was married to Miss Lola Barron on Sept 3, 1905 and to them were born three children who with theeir mother survive him.

He united with the Presbyterian Church in 1910.

He was a nephew of Tom Woods who lived northwest of Rogers and of Rev Denton Woods of Monett. He was a good man and his death is a sad blow to his little family.
