The Springdale News from The Bentonville Democrat August 25, 1911
Uncle Jimmie Carl died at his home in Siloam Springs last Tuesday after a long illness. The deceased was in advanced years and is one of the oldest residents in Benton County; in fact he had probably lived in this county longer than any other citizen. He had a large family connection throughout the section.
Spouse: Elrena Woods Carl (1833 - 1914)*
