Business Executive Dies Here. Prominent Lima businessman and civic leader, Edwin B. Timmermeister, 73, of 1528 W. Market, died at 8 p.m. Monday in his home following an extended illness.

Mr. Timmermeister was a vice president and director of City Loan and Savings and former director and board member of the Metropolitan Bank.

Born June 14, 1889, in Wapakoneta, he was a son of Christian and Theresa Timmermeister. He was married to the former Kathleen Conner. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, John W. of 1611 Lowell; a sister, Mrs. Warner Boos of Wapakoneta; and two grandchildren, William C. and Kay, both of 1611 Lowell.

A Lima resident 40 years, Mr. Timmermeister was a former board member and president of Wapakoneta Daily News and board member and vice president of the St. Marys Woolen Company. He was a director of the Ayrshire Breeders Association. Mr. Timmermeister was a member of the civic group which was instrumental in bringing Westinghouse Electric to Lima.

In addition to business affiliations, he was a member of Market Street Presbyterian Church, Shawnee Country Club, Lima Club, Masonic Lodges, Troubador Club, Mirror Lake Club and a life member of BPOE.

Dr. W. Wood Duff will conduct services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Siferd Westwood Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
