Services for Ross Anderson Griffin, 86, of Augusta were held Feb. 4 1992 in the Augusta First Baptist Church with Rev. Ledell Bailey officiating. Burial was in Augusta Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Griffin died Feb. 1 1992 in the Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy. He was born Oct. 29, 1905 in the Gregory Community of Woodruff County and was married to Virginia Comer on April 16, 1932.
Mr. Griffin was a former Wynne resident. He was employed as a clerk by the Missouri Pacific Railroad for more than 30 years prior to his retirement in 1972. He was a member of the Augusta First Baptist Church.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife; two daughters--Betty Harris of West Memphis and Sally Von Ruedgisch of Searcy and by two grandsons and one great-grandson.
