DICKSON, Lou E. GRAMMER - Mrs. Lou E. Dickson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Virgie Ames, Sunday afternoon at six o'clock following an illness of two weeks. She was 77 years of age. She was born in Stone County, Missouri on April 24th, 1852 and at an early age united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Later she joined the Methodist Church, South at Edgewood, Texas. She was married June 14, 1870 to John E. Dickson and to their union were born three children, all of whom are living. Surviving are her her daughters, Mrs. Ames, and Mrs. J.A. Maclin of Ft. Worth, Texas and her son, R.B. Dickson of Edgewood, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a brother, J.A. Grammer, and s sister, Mrs. J.M. Keller of Bentonville. Funeral services were held at the home on Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, the Rev. R.S. Hayden and Rev. C. Cockrum conducting the same. Burial followed in the City Cemetery.
